The Full Picture
Nia "Niamani" Ricks (she/they), a filmmaker and writer graduated from Columbia College Chicago with their BA Degree in Film and TV studies in the Spring of 2024. Nia is an ambitious and passionate creative who loves to create stories with character-driven narratives. Working as a production designer for numerous MFA student thesis films, commercials and short film productions, gave Nia the insight of what it's like to fully see one's vision come to life. Nia currently resides in the North Lakeview area of Chicago and in her free time, you can see them taking long walks around the neighborhood and reading self-help, comic books and graphic novels!
